This is an exciting career opportunity as an AM Dispatcher located at PHX airport for Ameriflight LLC, the largest airline Part 135 cargo in the country. In this role, reporting to the operations base manager, you will coordinate ground and airborne flight operations in conjunction with scheduled and special requirements or customers, working closely with flight and maintenance departments as well as line service personnel. Duties and responsibilities include interacting with customers to transport high priority work with critical delivery cut-off times, making critical go/no-go flight release decisions with pilots to ensure safe operations under FAR part 135 while striving to fully utilize all available aircraft and aircrew on revenue flights. You will prepares effective and timely contingency plans to recover from services disruptions due to problems with the weather, ATC, aircraft emergencies, etc., and you will monitor and follow airborne flight movements during your shift.
