Avionics Technician with 5 years of experience, must be available for swing shift.

Must have electrical, mechanical, and cable fabrication skills as required to install and maintain Garmin, Bendix/King, and S-TEC, Navigation, Communication, and Auto-Pilot Avionics Systems in General Aviation, Single- and Multi-Engine aircraft.

Must also have strong Line Maintenance, avionics system troubleshooting, testing, and repair skills, and be familiar with FAR 91.411/91.413 Pitot/Static & Transponder Inspections. Avionics components Bench Checks and repair are desired, but not required. FCC License and current Avionics Repair Station license are highly desired.

Ameriflight, LLC, the largest 135 Cargo operator in the US, is seeking a highly qualified, highly motivated individual for the position of Chief Pilot based at the Burbank headquarters. This individual must meet the minimum experience requirements set forth by CFR Part 119.71 and must have: • Previous Airline management experience. • Airline Transport Certificate with preferred type ratings in EMB120, SA227, or BE1900 aircraft. • 4000 hours total time. • 2000 hour PIC turbine. • Recent international experience. • 14 CFR Part 135 experience, cargo preferred. • Class II medical certificate. • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Able to organize and coordinate work. • Able to lift cargo in excess of 50 pounds. • Must pass pre-employment DOT mandated drug screen, PRIA, and CHRC. • Four year college degree. Ameriflight currently employees well over 200 active line pilots in 12 bases across the United States and Caribbean. Ameriflight has over 170 airplanes; EMB120s, BE1900s, SA227s, BE99s, and PA31s. Applicant must have current and accurate knowledge of CFR Part 119, 120, and135 regulations and “typical” GOM policies and procedures for a Part 135 certificate holder. Strong writing and Microsoft office skills a must. Full job description will be discussed during interviews. We are seeking an outstanding individual that is proactive in risk management and is people-oriented. This position calls for travelling on a regular basis to the various domiciles and constant interaction with Assistant Chief Pilots, Base Managers, and the Director of Operations. Ameriflight owes its success to prioritization of safety, compliance, and standardization of procedures and policies. The Chief Pilot must reflect these priorities.
